High jump men’s final. Tokyo Olympics yesterday Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy and Mutaz Barshim of Qatar tied first place at 2.37m at the end of a gruelling final. Each Offered 1 last attempt to decide Gold. Tamberi injured and unable to jump. Barshim could have got Gold if successful in final try but seeing his rival injured, chose to share Gold with Tamberi! Tears of joy in Tamberi’s eyes at the Qatar’s gesture.
