In January of 2023, HARDY, a two-time Academy of Country Music Songwriter of the Year, released his second studio album, “the mockingbird & THE CROW.” A mixture of upbeat, modern country and harder, darker rock, the album includes the hit song “wait in the truck,” a duet with singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson. The pair are featured in the latest installment of “American Currents,” the annual Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit designed to offer perspective on country music’s latest chapter.
