Personal note: This was the day that I waited in line (10 hours) to see her Majesty however, the grandchildren had already performed their vigil by the time it was my turn. The atmosphere was respectful, the crowds friendly, no pushing. Someone offered to buy me a cup of tea! Even the security screening, conducted by uniformed police officers, was friendly and encouraging.
